Three-year curricular-structured continuing education course: "Cognitive-behavioral therapy" for medical doctors with a completed medical university degree, in the context of the FMH special education program in psychiatry and psychotherapy.

Contents:

Knowledge and Skills: Approximately 500 hours (50 course days with 8 lectures per day; research literature, case studies, case conference, examination)

Supervision: 130 hours (40 units in larger groups, of which 20 will be counted fully; 110 units individual supervision, of which 62.5 units will be dyadic individual supervision [= requirement of the FMH], 47.5 units individual therapy in small groups)

Experiential exercises: 50 hours

Course location: Zurich

Cost: Knowledge & Skills: appr. CHF 13,500 / Supervision: appr. CHF 16,000 / Experiential exercises: appr. CHF 3,500

Dates: The course is scheduled every 1.5 years.
